Self Rescue and Advanced Rope Work
Rock climbing is a wonderful and thrilling sport, yet sometimes things can go wrong. Being prepared and having the right knowledge and skills to deal with a situation is a vital part of any climbers' tool box.
Our Self Rescue and Advanced Rope Work Course will equip you with the skills and knowledge to be able to deal with a wide array of problems which might arise whilst you're out climbing. This course is run on single pitch, multi-pitch and sea cliffs.
Key course information:
Course will include: escaping the system, hoisting, use of the guide plate (if applicable), ascending a fixed rope, basic problem solving
All safety equipment can be provided
Course is suitable for those who have some climbing experience, and are able to belay and tie in.
Please note: the Multi-pitch course will operate on a 1:2 ratio due to the nature of the terrain
Cost: £90 per person
Minimum of 2 people
Reductions available for bookings of more than 2 people, or multiple days
NB: Course can be provided for 1 person at a cost of £180 per day
