Outline of the day:
We'll meet you at the crag venue car park in the morning (lift share options may be available) and after an initial meet and greet we'll head out to our climbing venue for the day. Your instructor will set up some anchors and ropes on climbing routes so that you can enjoy the climbs with the safety and protection of a rope above you at all times. They will show you how to fit your harness and helmet, as well as teach you how to 'tie in' to the rope and belay your climbing partner. Your instructor will also encourage you to continually check yourself and your climbing partner to ensure that all knots and equipment are being used correctly. The day will come to an end usually at 4pm, with time to feedback with your instructor and discuss the next steps for you to progress in your climbing.
